Happy Tuesday sweet friends!
“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
Psalm 118:24 (ESV)
I am delighted that you are here today. Mary and I are excited to celebrate the second anniversary of Tea on Tuesdays. Both of us have a lovely GIVEAWAY! Be sure to read to the end of the post to see how to enter. You will also find Mary’s link for beautiful tea inspiration and an opportunity to enter her giveaway!
In honor of our second anniversary, I am taking a look back at the last 12 months of Tea on Tuesdays. Click the highlighted links to view the original post.
Tea: Hot Or Iced, What’s Your Pleasure? Our hot summers demand iced tea, sweetened of course! Why not offer hot or iced tea?
September teatime was served on a cool fall morning on the cottage porch! Waffles, macarons from Budapest, and rosemary butter cookies accompanied a cozy blend of cinnamon orange tea!
Since fall is my favorite season, an October Tea In The Cottage Garden featured stacked pumpkins, a pumpkin teapot, and velvet pumpkins. The addition of pumpkin spice tea was a warm taste of autumn in a cup!
With a backdrop of twinkling lights on my autumn tree, I set A Thankful Teatime in the Sunshine Cottage. A warm cozy throw plus a sweet acorn and oak leaf teapot celebrate the Thanksgiving season.
It was a hectic December, but Finding Time for Tea offered a time to sit down and enjoy a cup of gingerbread tea and sweets!
This past January was very cold in our Appalachian Foothills! The coziness of the Sunshine Cottage gave me an opportunity to set a winter tea to warm the heart! An extra bonus is that winter provides dancing light and shadows across the table.
My sweet little Sunshine Cottage provides a place to slow down and Take Time For Tea! A lovely Royal Albert ‘Old Country Roses, Ruby Celebration’ teapot has sweet memories attached, and y’all know I love sharing memories. Earl Grey Crème Tea was chosen to accompany sweet treats!
A Delightful Easter Tea was set on the picnic table next to the woodlands. A pair of playful Fitz and Floyd bunnies escaped from a bookcase and quickly darted out the door before I could stop them! They immediately noticed the table and hopped up to see what they might nibble on.
A Pink and White Tea Table was planned for my granddaughters along with an etiquette class. They are well-mannered girls, but we can all use a refresher course. It was a very special afternoon that the girls and I enjoyed!
For May’s edition, it was Teatime, Wildflowers, & A Surprise Gift! A small table for two was set on the Sunshine Cottage porch. My inspiration for the table was a beautiful and classic French tablecloth from a sweet blogging friend.
I love setting a red, white, and blue table! A Patriotic Tea For Two was enjoyed in the garden. With sweltering temperatures, Rose Lemonade iced tea was definitely our choice! It is delicious served hot or cold.
Last Tuesday was July’s edition of Tea on Tuesdays. With an intense heat wave, it was an Early Evening Tea in the Cottage Garden as the sun was beginning to sink in the sky.
In celebration of our second anniversary of Tea on Tuesdays, Mary and I are both giving away this lovely book, Tea & Sweets, from TeaTime Magazine and Hoffman Media.
Cakes and cupcakes, tarts and cheesecakes, cookies and bars—sweet treats are plentiful in this collection of delicious recipes from the editors of TeaTime Magazine. An expert tea-pairing, along with tea-steeping primer, will make it easy to select and prepare the perfect cup of tea to accompany each dessert.
Both of us will be giving away a teacup of our choice. I chose a beautiful Grace Teaware floral cup/saucer. The mix of yellow and shades of pink is so pretty.
Blueberry-Lemon Mini Cheesecakes, Eclairs, Basil & Jasmine Strawberry Shortcakes
From chocolate and fruit to spices and nuts the more than 100 recipes in Tea & Sweets will please any palate and will provide an array of ideas for the next occasion of tea.
Peppermint Mini Cheesecakes…perfect for a Christmas tea!

During the summer, I like a citrus tea and some spicier during the late fall/winter. Beautiful post!
Lauren S says
My favorite teatime treat is a cranberry-orange scone. I enjoyed your lookback of the teas throughout the year,
Sandra Swindall says
This is such a lovely and refreshing site to read through.
Several years ago I taught a children’s gardening class at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Making lavender cookies with fresh lavender from the garden was one of the activities we did. Such a sweet memory. Your posts and photographs are so beautiful.
Lauren S says
I pinned your lovely patriotic Tea for Two.
Shelley Welch says
Good morning Pam! We are new to living in the south, and moved to the lowcountry in June. Staying hydrated with decaf tea and water is not an option for this girl anymore. Decaf double bergamot and tazo green ginger are two teas I alternate between in the summer. I love all of your inspiring photos and settings, but especially your scripture quotes to start my day. Blessings, Shelley
Leslie Anne Tarabella says
It all looks so pretty, but I think my favorite is basic teacakes – or shortbread. Your tables make even the most simple of treat seem fantastical. – is that a word? I think so. Cheers!

Happy 2nd Anniversary of Tea on Tuesdays! This was a lovely look back at all your beautiful tea time posts! I will pass on entering the generous giveaway as I have already won a beautiful tea time book when Shirley was still in your Monday Morning Blooms group. I look forward to more inspiring Tea on Tuesdays with you and Mary!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thanks so much, Jenna! I remember you won a book. I love Hoffman Media books and magazines headquartered right in Birmingham!
Robyn Nichols says
I so enjoy your blog, Pam. The scripture at the beginning of each one is a reminder of my brothers and sisters in Christ out there in the world. How much fun you must have sharing treats and tea with loved ones (especially grands) after your blog photo shoots! I bet your babies think you are the neatest grandma.
Thank you for the opportunity to win this lovely book and cup!
Kari says
Pam what a beautiful round-up of your lovely tea times these past two years. I remember each one and savor each cup of tea I drink each day. (I probably drink too many cups but they relax me so) I enjoy seeing your accompaniments and the creative ideas for each teatime. I also enjoy the way you tell the history of a linen or teapot which shows how much care and time you take to make your tea table special for us all.
Have a great and glorious day…this is the day that the Lord has made….we will rejoice and be glad in it!
Rachel Hill says
My favorite tea time dessert is scones. Your tea tables are always so beautiful and inspiring. I am partial to fall as well. Our summers are just too hot!

Thanks Clara for being a faithful and encouraging follower. It has rained all afternoon with more the rest of the week ❤️

Pam, your year of tea review was a wonderful treat. Your lovely tables are always set on beautiful tablecloths. I know you are a fan of April Cornell linens, and so am I. My tea time treat of choice is scones. And blueberry would have to be my favorite. Thank you for the opportunity to win this beautiful book and lovely tea cup.

My sweet friend, Happy 2nd Anniversary to you two tea ladies who make the world so much more beautiful! Pam, I don’t know how to choose. I have a Pinterest Board called “Pam’s Place”. Fall is my favorite time of year, but I chose to pin the Butterfly Teapot (I just LOVE it, too!). Every tablescape and tea setting looks so inviting. My favorite treat would be a cookie (I love chocolate chips) and my favorite tea is an Elderberry Lemon Green tea and 2nd–Blueberry green tea (I have 6 different teas right now to choose from). I love chamomile and at night I drink a sleepy-time tea with many different ingredients. In the fall, an apple spice tea with apple spice cake or anything with cinnamon hits the spot (I add cinnamon to everything!). I love you, Pam! Thank you for all the beauty you and Mary bring into our worlds! PS–please do not include me in the drawing–seriously, I just enjoy being able to BE HERE and see all you’re doing!! ❣️💕
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thanks so much, Karla. I also love a chocolate chip cookie! I love all the teas that you enjoy, my! I am so glad you are here and I must find your Pinterest to see Pam’s Place! I love you and you are always in my prayers 🩷🙏🏻

Hello Pam. Have enjoyed every Tea you both have created these last 2 years. My favorite Tea time is those spent with family. The women of my husband’s family would take turns each month, hosting “Sister Day”, Mom included. It’s in these times you realize it’s not WHAT you serve, it’s the time spent together , celebrating family. Always take pictures, Mom and a sister are here no more, and with the pictures, you continue the celebration!( I actually have one of our times together as my screen saver right now)

I so enjoyed looking back on your months of teatimes, Pam. My favorite hot tea has been Victorian London Fog for the cooler months. My favorite treats to make are various flavors of scones. Your teacup is a beauty for summertime.

Congratulations Pam on your second Tea on Tuesday anniversary! Your posts have been a bright spot for me that I look forward to. You have choses a lovely book and teacup for your anniversary giveaway.
I have enjoyed looking back at your beautiful year of posts. All of them show such creativity and inspiration.
I am partial to Earl Grey tea and scones and macaroons.
It is very hard to pick one post to pin. I’ve pretty much pinned all year or try to. But I love your pink and white springtime post on your picnic table in the woodlands.
Blessings, Bonnie

I pinned October Tea in the Cottage Garden. Looks so cozy. Pumpkin Spice tea and fall will be coming before you know it.
Roxanne Bernard says
Pam, your sweet etiquette class with the girls and the Budapest macarons are among my favorite. My mother used to make a batch of Russian tea every fall (that 60s favorite made with Tang!). I have to admit it is still my favorite because of the memories, and now I make a batch every fall myself. I’m not going to participate in the contest since I was a lucky winner of the beautiful flower book!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you, Roxanne! I remember the Russian tea (with Tang). My mother made a batch for many years and I remember that it was delicious. I think I made it many years ago. It is raining this morning, enjoy your day!

Hello Dear Pam! I am late for tea time because I spent yesterday with our brand new grandson! He is perfect in every way, and he is such a good little baby. We are in love!
Happy Second Anniversary to you both! I enjoy Tea on Tuesday very much with you and Mary and whoever the guest is! I enjoy seeing all the pretty linnens, tea cups and tea pots.
This was such a wonderful look back to your year of tea times!
My favorite tea changes with the season. I like a spice tea or a cinnonmin tea in the fall with cooler weather. I enjoy Early Grey and London Fog as well. But in the summer a fruited tea is a delight!
And of course, anything sweet is perfect with my tea!
Happy Anniversary dear Pam and Mary!
xxoo, Nancy

Favorite tea and treats? Oh dear! I like so many — hot constant comment or mint; a good ginger tea. Iced raspberry hibiscus! And treats? Oh, anything with shortbread or lemon! (And yes, I’m a blog subscriber, but you probably knew that!)
I love seeing all your tea tables — I’m glad you didn’t ask us to pick a favorite because I wouldn’t be able to choose! And what a lovely giveaway! Thanks for the opportunity, Pam!

When I’m pairing a tea with a teatime treat I like a more simple tea such as a green Jasmine tea. I am a Pumpkin Bar addict but I have my eyes on those Blueberry Lemon Mini Cheesecakes from Lorna’s beautiful Teatime Treat book. Thank you for the opportunity to win this sweet lovely prize!

There are others that I enjoy as well such as Peppermint tea and Earl Grey shortbreads.
My husband and I enjoy our mug(:) )!! of tea each morning. He usually has a slice of banana bread or blueberry bread with his tea.

Oh, what a lovely giveaway! I LOVE the teacup. Just beautiful. As you know, I am a subscriber, and my favorite tea is chai. I actually love different types of tea and my favorite way to drink them is to steep them, add ice and stevia, and pour them into my favorite water bottle—a beautiful “The Chosen” one that our dear son, Zach, bought for me. I will be pinning several photos from this post, too! Thank you for offering such a wonderful opportunity to win! God bless you!

Such a beautiful post with so many lovely pictures of your amazing tea settings! My favorite tea is either chai tea or green tea, and that depends on the temperature, when it’s hot I enjoy green tea, and when it’s chilly, I like chai tea, as well as peppermint before bedtime. My favorite tea time snack is a stroopwafel. My daughter brought some back to us from Europe, and it’s been a favorite ever since! Thank you for this generous giveaway!
