Hello sweet friends and Happy Thursday! Thanksgiving (one of my favorite holidays) is four weeks from today. I have rounded up Thanksgiving tablesettings to hopefully inspire and give you ideas for your Thanksgiving tables!
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!”

We have never celebrated Thanksgiving anywhere but home. As long as my beloved Mother was living, she hosted Thanksgiving in my childhood home. I have hosted Thanksgiving for the past seventeen years and consider it a blessing to be able to do so.
Royal Stafford turkey salad plates pair with Spode “Woodland” dinner plates and plaid chargers.
There are many years that it is warm enough to dine outside, but I always plan for indoors, because you can never know for sure if the weather will cooperate!
A multi-colored stack of leaf plates elevate a pumpkin!
As we gather together in our dining room each Thanksgiving, my heart is full as I look around the table at the people I love the most…my family!
The centerpiece was kept simple and easy!
A Harvest table was fun to create with…
…grocery store flowers and fresh fruit for a natural table runner!
Our Thanksgiving table might change a little from year to year. But always present is lively conversation, heart-warming stories, and food that has been lovingly prepared!
Lingering around the table is always welcomed!
Individual flower arrangements are a lovely take-away gift for guests. I think this is a great idea for a small gathering of maybe three couples. It can be a small jar of three blooms, not elaborate or expensive. It will make your guests feel special!
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”
James 1:17 (ESV)
A “thankful” Thanksgiving should be at the very center of this day that we celebrate! God is the giver of all good gifts!
“We would worry less if we praised more. Thanksgiving is the enemy of discontent and dissatisfaction.”
~H.A. Ironside
Last year, I decided to set a Thanksgiving Eve table for RM and me in the Sunshine Cottage. That might become a tradition!
Plaid, burlap, faux leather, and pheasant feathers give the table for two a masculine vibe!
Gathering with grateful hearts is the essence of our family’s Thanksgiving! I sent RM on a mission to gather all natural materials for a centerpiece…
…as you can see he was quite successful foraging our garden, pasture, and woodlands and returning with an unbelievable amount of nature’s bounty!
I will be joining 17 table stylists on Tuesday, November 5th for a Thanksgiving Tablescape blog hop. I hope you will join me.
A special thank you to all who wished me a happy birthday. Dear friends had us for dinner on Tuesday night. She made my favorite cake, Hummingbird. Last evening we had dinner in Birmingham at our favorite restaurant, Bottega. Tonight my sweet daughter-in love, son, and grands are having us for dinner. It has been a wonderful birthday!
Thank you for your visit and gracious comments. I am reminded daily to pray for all those who have lost loved ones, homes, and their livelihoods. Thanksgiving will be drastically different for them. I wish for you a joy-filled November!

Lovely table. A belated happy birthday. This year we have much to be thankful for if we escaped the hurricanes without damages. So many are still hurting. Praying for a peaceful election.

Happy Birthday, dear Pam! It is always so much fun when friends and family turn your celebration into a week long event. You have so many special tablescapes for us to draw inspiration. And I love the H. A. Ironside quotation. I am funny about Thanksgiving…I want it in my own home, and I want the exact foods my mama cooked for every Thanksgiving. Guest are welcome, but they need not bring food!

Pam, So glad to hear that the birthday celebrations are continuing. We’re in the Smoky mountains celebrating with friends. It’s been wonderful. It hurts to think that only a few miles away people are suffering. We’re praying for them. I can’t believe Thanksgiving is so close. Take care and have fun! Happy Halloween! Hope the children have fun tonight. Clara❤️

Your tables are always inspiring! By November I should be able to do a little fall decor — hopefully we’ll be having TG here and I can “borrow” an idea or two!
I’m so glad you were well feted on your birthday and beyond! That hummingbird cake sounds wonderful, as do all your celebratory events! I say let the celebration continue as long as possible!

Giving thanks for your beautiful post this morning Pam. I’ve decided to celebrate the entire month of my birthday,November. It will be quite different this year and who knows where I’ll be for Thanksgiving, it will be the first year in many years that I won’t be cooking a turkey. God has a plan for me and I’m excited to find out what it is.

A beautiful round up Birthday Girl! How sweet of your friend to make your favorite Hummingbird cake. I’ve got to get busy, I haven’t decided what I’m going to do yet for the hop so thank you for all the inspiration!

So beautiful, Pam. I hope you enjoyed your birthday blessings immensely. Happy belated birthday. I’m sorry I was late in wishing you a happy birthday, but my daughter is in the hospital with pneumonia and it’s been a very busy week.

Happy birthday Pam and it sounds like all the celebrations have been wonderful! Your tables and all beautiful and it’s so special that family and friends are there to enjoy your Thanksgiving offerings. I had never heard of hummingbird cake and had to google. I didn’t need to go any further than the cream cheese ingredient – I love anything with cream cheese lol. Have a wonderful evening with your family!
