Welcome sweet friends. The week of Thanksgiving is a busy time, but let us be mindful in giving thanks for God’s wonderful gifts that only He can bestow!
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”
James 1:17 (ESV)
Is your Christmas decorating underway? I have gathered some of my favorite Christmas tablescapes to provide ideas and inspiration.

The beautiful gifted “Bethlehem Christmas” dinnerware and the “Away in the Manger” centerpiece are both reminders of the true meaning of Christmas!
My sweet RM cuts fresh greens every year to decorate the chandelier. The cedar fragrance is amazing!
The Sunshine Cottage is perfect for tea during the Christmas holidays…warm, cozy, with twinkling lights!
Nikko ‘Happy Holidays’ is my oldest set of Christmas dinnerware. Like me, it is showing its age!
Do you ever long for an old time Christmas? A time when the season was simpler.
Royal Stafford Christmas Sleigh dinner plates with Santa and his reindeer remind me of my childhood when in my dreams I imagined Santa in his sleigh coming to our home.
Tartan Plaid provides a lovely seasons greeting!
Queen’s Seasons Greetings blue and white dinnerware was discovered at Tuesday Morning many years ago. We use it for everyday during the Christmas season. I paired the Seasons Greetings with tartan chargers and Ralph Lauren cutwork placemats that rest atop a wool tartan throw. Yes, I mix tartans…the more the merrier!
The dining room table was set for our Christmas dinner!
Fresh Leyland cypress provides a natural runner for golden angels, brushed gold candle stands, and Kim Seybert crystal and gold baubles.
Mixing patterns of plaid and florals with blue and white provided a cozy and warm ambiance!
Holiday church accent plates and red bows are from the Southern Living Collection at Dillard’s. I tried to talk myself out of the plates and bows…but “self” didn’t listen!
I love beautiful linens! As an April Cornell brand ambassador, I receive linens several times a year. The gorgeous napkins and tablecloth in red is called ‘Holly’ and was a new pattern for last year.
Long-time readers know that I have many hand-made collections from my beloved Mother. Four of her Old World Santa’s were used on the table. She painstakingly painted these and her detail on each Santa was amazing, just look at the eyes!
I had loads of fun setting this table, Nutcrackers on Parade! Steinbach nutcrackers line the table.
Tablesetting tip: use wrapping paper to top the table! The nutcracker salad plates were from Hobby Lobby!
Two different looks: removing the wrapping paper provided a more elegant look!
A Steinbach artist nutcracker stands guard over the table!
An all natural tablesetting is easy to pull off with fresh greens, pine cones, and fruit!
A sparkling punch is festive with rosemary, cranberries, and a slice of orange!
Satin stars that are ornaments added sparkle to the chandelier!
“Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice, and let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!””
1 Chronicles 16:31 (ESV)

You have so much gorgeous holiday inspiration to revisit, but somehow I think that even if you didn’t go back and look at these beautiful photos, the inspiration from those isn’t needed — you have more than enough already!

Good morning Pam! This is such a gorgeous roundup of Christmas tables. I remember several of these, and the beautiful creations your dear mother made. Her attention to detail on the Santa is amazing! I know you treasure these pieces so much. The Southern Living dinnerware is so pretty, and I don’t think I could have talked myself out of it. Since, I go to my Dad and Mom’s for Thanksgiving I have already started decorating for Christmas. I am enjoying it so much and love the glow of the Christmas lights. My dear friend, I wish you and your precious family a blessed and happy Thanksgiving!

Good morning Pam, it is almost impossible to believe Christmas is one month away! Each of your tables is so unique, there is something for everyone. I especially love the nutcrackers and your mother’s Santa’s and napkin rings. My sweet teenage neighbors came over this weekend and helped me decorate. I’ve scaled way back this year and decided I just couldn’t put up my tree. It makes me sad, but my PT said what I do for the next 2 months will impact the rest of my life!

They are all so beautiful Pam, I love them all! I always enjoy seeing Butch’s greenery on the chandy! I got my tablescape done, but haven’t done any decorating yet and I’m off to the beach tomorrow so I’m starting to panic a little 😂 I hope this week is full of blessings for you!
