Hello sweet friends! An update from Monday’s post: our friends who were doing mission work on Man O War Cay, Abaco Islands are safe with water, food, and a dry place to sleep. But the utter devastation is everywhere and so heart-wrenching. They have no idea when they will be able to fly home. I hope you will join me in praying for the Bahamian people and everyone impacted by Dorian.

Hello sweet friends and welcome to Everyday Living’s five year blogiversary…I can’t believe it has been five years! Many of you began the journey with us, but so many have joined us along the way. We are forever grateful for you our readers. Without you there would be no blog. As we have shared our lives with you, many of you have shared your lives with us…prayer requests, celebrations, memories and much more. Most of us will never meet this side of heaven, but we share a beautiful virtual friendship.

Tablescapes Tuesdays have been weekly since the blog began. I have been setting tables and hosting dinners for many years learning from the best teacher, my beloved mother. When I first joined Facebook, I would occasionally share a tablescape and from so many encouraging comments, Tablescape Tuesday was born. Hello dear friends! We returned late Friday night from a week in Texas. The first couple of days were in Austin where Butch had business. The remainder of the week was for pleasure in the Texas Hill Country, with the majority of our time spent in Fredericksburg! While we were in Texas, our son, daughter-in-love, and two granddaughters were at the beach. The first ten pics are from Texas, the last three are at the beach. Hope you enjoy our week in photos!

This church on Main Street in Fredericksburg, TX was built on a native limestone foundation and dates to 1887.
