It was 28 degrees with a heavy frost one morning last, week when just before sunrise, I noticed the eastern sky turn a fiery orange. Knowing how quickly light changes at sunrise and sunset, I grabbed the camera off the counter and rushed outside. I don’t know that I ended up with a great sunrise pic, but after running out into the pasture in shorts, tee shirt, and bare feet, this sunrise had to be a keeper!READ MORE

Happy Tuesday sweet friends. With the Thanksgiving Holiday just around the corner, I am reminded to not only make thankfulness a priority on a special day in November… but gratefulness should be a part of my everyday living.

Appalachian Media captured last week’s rising full moon in a unique spot as seen from the barnyard. There was a total eclipse a few hours later, but admittedly, I did not get up at 3:00 AM to observe. Maybe some of you did check out the lunar eclipse??READ MORE
