Mid-October has an advantage that will fade away overnight in two weeks. Right now I don’t have to get out and about so early to make my way to the fields east of the house to witness such an awesome start to the morning…like this one! But when standard time arrives two weeks from today, I will need to venture out an hour earlier than I did last week. I do wish we could leave the clock alone, one way or the other!READ MORE

I was out before sunrise Friday and it was such a fine October morn. In the 50’s and breezy made it feel a bit chilly since we haven’t experienced these conditions in a while. A hoodie felt good.
