“with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
Ephesians 4:2-3
Hello dear friends! Can you believe we are already in November, it seems impossible. I am so glad you are here because it is the first Friday of the month which means I am joining my blogging friends for another edition of Floral Friday! If you are here by way of Shirley, Mary, or Lidy, welcome to Everyday Living. I hope you have time to stay and visit as we celebrate a time of harvest.
Our common theme for today is harvest. What do you think of when you hear that word? I immediately think of the time of the year when you gather crops that are mature or ripe. I think about my grandparents who planted and harvested everything by hand. They depended on the harvest to feed their eight children through the long winter months. I also think of the laws of the harvest that are found in scripture, “you will reap what you sow.” Harvest always reveals what we have sown, whether naturally or spiritually. The celebration of harvest is a time to thank God for His blessings and His bountiful provisions.
My photo reminds me of a still life painting that I have hanging in a hallway.
