For The Love Of Valentine’s Day

Happy Thursday dear friends! Can you believe Valentine’s Day is less than a month away? No matter how you celebrate, it is a sweet day to share love…and oh how we need more of that! But, we will save that subject for another day. Today, For The Love of Valentine’s Day, I am sharing some inspiration to help you celebrate the holiday of love!  Whether it inspires you to share a quiet evening with your honey, or a dinner with friends, or perhaps a brunch for girlfriends, it can be a special day! 

Cards are a simple way to show our love. I have kept most of my Valentine’s through the years and enjoy taking them out and rereading. It is a good time to send love to a widow or widower, single person, or someone going through a hard time. It is amazing how a single card can brighten someone’s day.

This was a table I set for four to share with another couple. This could be an invitation to a couple who are friends, parents, or a young married couple who need encouragement. My former red dining room was perfect for Valentine’s celebrations. Click here for original post.

Good Monday morning to all of you! We have had two glorious days of sunshine and it just makes me feel better after all the dark and rainy days we’ve had!  You know one thing that always helps brighten the day and bring a little “happy” despite the rain?  Flowers!  I am here with my creative blogging friends to bring you the first Monday Morning Blooms of 2019! You will find us together the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month! If you are new to Everyday Living, I am so glad you are here and I am extending you a big warm welcome!

Who doesn’t feel special when someone prepares a breakfast tray just for you?!  It is even nice to make one for yourself!

‘Twas The Thursday Before Christmas

‘Twas the Thursday before Christmas and all through the house, everything was decorated by me and my spouse.
The stockings were hung and nativities in place, Nutcrackers stood guard as Christmas overtook our space! 
The Carolers greeted each guest as they walked in, and Ella Mae loved them…they were her new friends!
But more than the trees and the lights and the garland, we shift our focus to the Christ child born in a far land.
His name is Jesus, He is Lord and He is King. He’s our Savior, Redeemer, the reason our hearts sing!

My Renaissance Man always decorates the door to his workshop…

…he has been making the Williamsburg fan for years using fresh apples, pineapple, and magnolia leaves.
