Happy Thursday sweet friends!  This week, I have been on a two day business trip with my Renaissance Man…which is always fun, and sometimes interesting!  I will hold that story for another day. Our posts have been a little different for the past week.  We took the opportunity to share more of our true Everyday Living…and if you haven’t read, you can  catch up by reading part one, part two, and part three here.  It is our prayer that the story God has been writing for us will encourage and strengthen your relationship with the Lord.  

Today we are back in the saddle with one of my favorite things…books!  All of you know how much we love to read.  Books are stacked everywhere and now we are collecting books for Ella Mae so I can read to her.  We will soon run out of space to hold them all!  I am still intrigued with the idea of a dining room/library combination.  I am not ready to commit, but these inspiration photos sure make it appealing!  Let’s take a look and do a little Bookshelf Dreamin’.

Tablescape Tuesday: Fruit Rapture

Happy Tuesday dear friends…and I am sure some of you are scratching your head, wondering what on earth a fruit rapture is!  It’s not what it sounds like, but we will get to that in a minute.  We had a beautiful weekend after single digit temperatures and a negative wind chill last week.  You know you live in Alabama when you can go from 9 degrees to 70 in the span of 4 days!  With sunshine and warmer temps, I was ready to set the table with my everyday china for Saturday brunch…which brings me to the explanation of the title…it’s the name of the china you will be seeing today!  Pull out a chair and join me for Fruit Rapture!

Hello lovely friends and Happy Thursday!  Each year as I pack up all of my Christmas decor, ev‬erything seems a little dull…we go from twinkling lights and loads of color to bare trees and gloomy days!  This year I decided not to stay in those gloomy days for too long…I am already looking ahead to Valentine’s Day!  You may have already seen hearts and candies start to surface in your local stores!  I thought that since February 14th is a little over a month away, that we would just dive right in today! Let’s take a dip back into the archives today to look at a little Red, White and Sweet Candlelight!
