Hello my dear readers. My favorite season officially begins on Monday. It seems that we have an arctic blast today and tomorrow with temps only in the 80’s, but I am excited for the little break before we are back in the 90’s. I have spent much time complaining over our hot and dry September…wishing for fall to make an appearance. Before it does, I need to properly say “farewell to summer.” Join me for a few reflections of summer 2019!

The Colors Of Autumn: Fall Tablescape

Happy Tuesday dear friends. How many of you are ready for fall or do you still want to hold on to summer? We have had the hottest and driest September that I can remember…so I say bring on autumn! An Autumn Pitcher Of Gold – Monday Morning Blooms

Hello dear friends! It is the third Monday of the month which means a new edition of Monday Morning Blooms with my blogging friends Mary and Lidy. We miss our precious Shirley, and are hopeful she will be able to return soon. 

Autumn officially begins one week from today. Even though it doesn’t feel like sweater weather, I have decided it is time to get in the spirit. I love all the warm colors of autumn and a pitcher filled with gold blooms welcomes the season!

Our common theme for today was to create a monochromatic arrangement…yellow and gold flowers were readily available!

I chose this sentimental stoneware pitcher that belonged to my paternal grandmother and most likely came from my great-grandmother. I love its humble country style which is perfect for my arrangement.
