Plates will likely be filled and running over today as family gathers at our house. We are grateful for the opportunity since we could not do so in 2020. Our list of things to be thankful for would be a mile long and truly it should be. But Paul, in a letter to the Corinthians, expressed thanks of a much higher kind because the victory he mentions is a win over our greatest enemy, death.  The eternal significance is clear and can only be won through Jesus. Looking Back On Christmases Past

Happy Thursday sweet friends! Thanksgiving is one week from today, are you ready?

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.”

In the blog and Instagram world, Christmas is everywhere! So far, my Christmas decorating consists of the tree being placed and fluffed in the Sunshine Cottage. I really don’t like mixing the two holidays. But, I find it necessary to make a start in order to finish, so I can relax and enjoy the season. I think the bottom line is…I am getting older and slower! I always enjoy looking back on Christmases past. Grab a cup of coffee and join me as I take a stroll through the archives!
