It all begins with these two necessities, and that is true regardless of where on earth we choose to journey. Recently we enjoyed both of these in a way that was extremely delightful and beyond our expectations. Join us for a Budapest experience!

I have places that top my list as destinations I’d love to visit. I can mark one off the list as we were blessed to spend a few days in Budapest last September. At the final stop of a wonderful Danube River journey, we decided to extend our Viking river cruise and stay a couple of additional days in Budapest. The Four Seasons Gresham Palace Hotel, seen here at the end of the famous Chain Bridge, provided much, much more than just a convenient and comfortable place to rest at night! READ MORE

Happy New Year!!! SSS posted 781 pics in 2023. That number offered a challenge when attempting to narrow things down! But, we have selected a few from across the year that we hope you enjoy. Pam and I made a lot of pics one afternoon of rainbows that provided some of the most beautiful, thought provoking skies. We enjoyed the unusual and ever changing light that day as eternal thoughts of things to come came on our minds, This is the eastern sky. The sky never ceases to amaze me. We had several beautiful mornings last week and I was so glad to feel well enough to head out in the cold on this occasion and just hang out in the pasture. I stood and tried to imagine what it would’ve been like to be hanging out in a pasture with sheep and experience what shepherds did, near Bethlehem, one night long ago.
