Happy Sunday! With temps around 90 today and possibly mid-nineties coming tomorrow, I had to remind myself of something so I would not be whining and complaining. It has only been a short time since I was griping about the cold and late frost, wondering will it ever be warm. Red White & Blue For Memorial Day

Hello sweet friends. The weather was absolutely gorgeous this past weekend and we enjoyed working in the garden and just being outdoors. How was your weekend? I hope it was wonderful as well!

We will celebrate Memorial Day on Monday, May 31st. Most of us consider it the beginning of summer. We plan outdoor barbecues, picnics by the lake, beach trips, and parades. It is important to remember the true meaning of the holiday. It is a day dedicated to honor the fallen soldiers, those that never came home, that fought and paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
