Hello dear friends. It seems that we are in the grip of August heat, pop-up showers followed by steam baths! By this time, I am looking forward to autumn. Typically, we love to travel during fall, it isn’t as crowded and the temperatures are pleasant. Since we have no travel plans in 2020, we are revisiting a favorite autumn road trip and you are invited to come along. Let’s return to the Vineyard…that would be Martha’s!

When traveling, I always do my homework before I book a place to stay. Charlotte Inn in Edgartown did not disappoint.
An interesting note: A Hallmark movie, A Godwink Christmas that aired in 2018 is the story of the Charlotte Inn owners, Gery and Paula Conover. It is a sweet story about how they met over thirty years ago with the Inn also playing a starring role.
