Today, January 18, is a red-letter day for us. A red-letter day is one that is very memorable. We mark our calendars and do all sorts of things to remember such a day because of its significance. So, what is it about today that brings Pam and me to a place of personal celebration each year?

Welcome friends to a Sunshine Cottage Christmas! The cottage is decorated with my grandchildren in mind. For new readers, we have four grands…two girls ages 9 and 6, and two boys ages 4 and 10 months. The boys don’t visit very often, it really is a girls’ cottage! I have noticed the boys sometimes wander in about the time treats are being served!
