Happy Thursday, sweet friends. Our weather has been glorious the last few days with beautiful sunlight, blue skies, and perfect temperatures…autumn at its best!

There is no place we would rather be than our home in the Appalachian Foothills. As we get older, this hillside gets sweeter and sweeter. Reminiscing a couple of days ago, I looked back through the archives and collected a few photos that I hope you will enjoy that I simply call ‘autumn at home’!

My best laid plans often never materialize, or are forced to change. Sometimes that is a real blessing. Thankfully my plans to get out early a few mornings last week worked out well however, and I was able to enjoy several great October sunrises. The small crescent moon was sharing the sky with Venus, but you really have to look closely to see the planet…Pam found it!READ MORE
