Hello sweet friends. Leaves are falling and it is time for warm boots as it is predicted to drop below freezing tonight in our Appalachian Foothills. Most often our first frost is toward the end of October, so a little early!

Change is in the air and autumn is wasting no time in making its presence known. Weeks of dry windy weather seems to have brought about earlier than normal color as well as falling leaves. Hello sweet friends. I hope your week is going well. It has been a busy week around our house. RM completed the fire pit and we are planning on having our first fire and s’mores this weekend!

I think I am getting slower in accomplishing tasks. Can you relate? It is almost the middle of October and I have not finished fall decorating in the cottage. Come inside and have a look at what I have completed.

Playing with dishes has become a hobby since the cottage was built. The shelves give me the opportunity to display seasonal dishware.READ MORE
