Happy First Sunday Of Autumn!

Days and nights are equal now as the sun makes it’s way a little further south each day! There is something about the angle of light this time of the year that adds a special beauty to early mornings and late evenings.

Goodbye Summer 2020

Hello sweet friends. Fall, my favorite season, begins one week from today. Before moving onto all things fall, I must properly say goodbye to summer. I think we can all say that the summer of 2020 will be one for the history books!

The last hay crop of the season no doubt. With more rain than normal, it has been a decent summer for grass!

The buckthorn berries have turned a nice fall color. You would expect to see birds really going after these but we don’t notice them on this shrub that much. Maybe they are bitter and not desired by birds? I think we will read up on the subject and see if that is true or if possibly they will become popular with the birds in a few more weeks??READ MORE
