We have had so much rain that you have to be on ready to take photos if you happen to get a sunny day. Last Saturday was beautiful, especially as the sun was pouring through my dining room windows at mid morning.

I paired pinks and blues for a pastel tablescape after discovering this blue paisley tablecloth hanging in the back of my linen closet. It had long been forgotten. You would think I would be organized and have an inventory of linens and dishware, but organization is just not my strong point!READ MORE

Renaissance Man and I always eat at home on Valentine’s Day…it is a perfect time to invite another couple for dinner! Or perhaps someone who is single or a widow who could feel all alone and left out for Valentine’s Day.

A Healthy Dose Of Color: Tablescape Tuesday

Hello sweet friends. Thank you so much for your heartfelt condolences on the passing of Butch’s dad. We read each one and they were so kind and comforting. His dad will definitely be missed, yet through the sadness we are reminded of God’s goodness and his sovereign hand in all things!

I had not planned to post a tablescape this week, but yesterday I decided it would be enjoyable to pull out the dishes and see what I could come up with. I knew I wanted color…and I think I have a healthy dose of it on this table!

With yesterday being a holiday, I didn’t have the girls so it was a perfect day to set up a tablescape.

Grocery stores roses, carnations, and alstroemeria brought some much needed flower therapy on a cold winter day!READ MORE
