It Started Like Any Other Night…

Warm greetings sweet friends!  Can you believe that in less than a week Christmas will arrive? A couple of years ago I received a gift that totally took me by surprise. The lovely Pat from Life at Lydia’s House gifted me with her own designed Christmas dinnerware “Bethlehem Christmas”…and you talk about a lovely gift!  There are 8 different designs that share the birth of Jesus according to the scriptures. I am so excited to use it for our family’s Christmas once again and to share our table with you!

Once again I’ve asked Butch to share the lyrics of a song he wrote a few years ago. We have such a love for music so it seems fitting to use the words of a song to caption this Bethlehem Christmas. As you gather around our table it is our prayer that each scene will reveal the reality of the Christ child!

Warm Christmas greetings and I am so glad you have landed here at Everyday Living! It truly is the most wonderful time of the year, don’t you agree?  Many of you were hit by a major snow storm over the weekend, and hopefully you stayed warm and safe. No snow for us here in the Appalachian Foothills, just four days of dark skies and rain! These are the kind of days that make me want to stay in by the fire, drink hot chocolate, and read or watch Hallmark movies. If only I could have, it would have been wonderful!
