If you’ve been a reader of Everyday Living for any length of time, you will know who Patti is.  She is a precious friend of many years, and although distance separates us, we still see each other on occasion.  The last trip I made to Raleigh encompassed everything from good food and conversation to shopping to a two day tablescaping marathon!  Patti is a collector of the loveliest of table ware…her collection of china, sterling, crystal, and linens is by far the most extensive and gorgeous that I have personally seen, as she has traveled the world with her husband adding to her collection!  You can only imagine that this makes tablescaping extraordinarily fun at her house!  You have seen six of the tablescapes from her home so far, and today makes lucky number seven!  I think that it is time for another visit to North Carolina to catch up, eat, shop, and tablescape with Patti!

Tablescape Tuesday: Ain’t No Sunshine

Yesterday was cold and rainy…a true winter’s day!  It would have been the perfect day to curl up with a cup of hot cocoa and a good book, but Tuesday was coming and a tablescape was on my agenda for the day!  Tablescaping is fun and easy, but the photography proves to be difficult when there ain’t no sunshine!  I hope you enjoy our casual wintry tablescape for six!

Tablescape Tuesday: Just Because

The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, and I dare say the way to mine is through flowers.  My sweet husband knows this, and often buys me flowers…just because.  He doesn’t even need a good reason…just to show his love for me!  He came on Saturday with a dozen beautiful pink roses in hand, and naturally I started thinking of how to incorporate them into this week’s Tablescape Tuesday!  With gloomy skies, colder temperatures, and possible snow flurries predicted, I wanted to set the table with a nod to spring, but still winter appropriate!
