I am a big fan of plaids! When I was in junior high school, plaid was all the rage. Do any of you remember the brand Villager? They made preppy clothes, wool plaid skirts, sweaters, button down shirts, etc. I remember a specific outfit that I received for Christmas one year…a wool green/navy blue/red plaid skirt, blue oxford shirt, and a wool forest green sweater, forest green knee socks and of course, Bass Weejuns tasseled loafers. Why not have fun and mix patterns? The table covering is a plaid throw with tartan plaid chargers, April Cornell Cottage Rose Forest napkins, and Queens “Seasons Greetings” dinner and salad plates. I was so excited to find the blue and white Christmas tree pattern at Tuesday Morning several years ago.
