Hello dear friends. I hope your weekend was a good one. We have been getting lots of rain since last Thursday. It did not look very promising to share a tablescape outdoors, but then I had a short window of opportunity.  Join me for a 10 minute tablescape.

The weather forecast had said rain through Monday and even heavy periods of rain were to be expected. Late Thursday afternoon, the rain stopped and I decided to hurriedly gather a tablecloth and dishes and run out to the garden. Hopefully there would be enough time to put it together and photograph before the next shower hit.

I had to keep it very simple because I knew there were would be little time. As soon as I placed the cloth on the table, it started misting rain. I decided to give it a try in hopes that it would stop. I managed to finish the table quickly and begin to photograph. It was very dark with threatening clouds, but the misting rain stopped briefly.READ MORE
