Happy Tuesday and the last day of January, dear friends! Can you believe tomorrow is the first day of February?

By February I begin thinking about springtime and the planting of seeds in the garden. I have found that photo journaling is the easiest way to keep me organized with what was planted and whether it was a success or a failure! Grab a cup of coffee and join me as I share my Winter Garden Journal!

In late fall of 2021, we planted bulbs in the cottage garden, daffodils and alliums! Both of them were successful! I enjoyed using the alliums for floral arrangements.READ MORE

I was out for a walk at sunrise on September’s last day and decided to head east toward the river. Our mornings last week were very clear, not a cloud anywhere, but not so on Friday. I realized that I was likely seeing some clouds to the east that were there because of Hurricane Ian. That gave me pause and prompted me to pray for all the folks impacted by the storm as well as those who would be hit later that day!READ MORE
