‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:1‬ ‭  Darling little Bailey is explaining her wish list to Santa!  Our slow-growing ginkgo is just now showing its autumn color!  One of the best appetizers – egg salad and kale on sourdough!  Autumn will soon give way to winter!  The President’s House at Jacksonville State University!  The rivalry between the University of Alabama and Auburn is legendary.  We happened upon this marker a couple of weeks ago!  The Iron Bowl is Saturday…I say “Roll Tide”, Butch says “War Eagle”!  “I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the LORD!'”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭12:4‬ ‭ The serenity of a clear mountain stream!  A late blooming zinnia attracts this glorious butterfly!   The beauty of a ginkgo tree in autumn…color has yet to peak!  Hudson enjoys playing in the leaves…such a cutie! A view of the Smoky Mountains from the Appalachian Trail!  What a delicious pasta dish with butternut squash, sage, and hazelnuts…autumn goodness!  The quiet beauty of the woods!  Trees reflected in water!  This is why they are called the Smoky Mountains!    We still have fall color in our historic downtown!  I took this photo while on a Seine River dinner cruise a few years ago!  #prayforparis
