You have probably noticed by now, that each week on Simple +Southern Sunday, you see a picture of a child, and aren’t they just adorable? You’ve seen them in Santa’s lap, playing outside, getting dirty, baking, riding a cow, and stealing the show at weddings!

In Matthew 19, Jesus says…”Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 19:14

This week, we wanted to just take a look into some children’s lives and hopefully as you’re scrolling, the joy will be as contagious to you as it has been to us! We surely can learn a lot from the life of a child! God has given us this life to enjoy-and children can teach us how to do that! Things like…

…dressing to the “nines” as Myla…

…cowboy Hudson trying his hand at painting…

…looking for signs of spring with Charis and princess Addy Kate…

…sometimes you just have to take a little nap while standing like precious Sam…

…enjoying your birthday gifts with Mary Grace…

A white church building is always an “attention getter”-often a reminder of days gone by.

The cardinals in our maple tree wearing their red proudly!

Our local horses are prepared for the cold weather…outfitted in their warm woolen blankets!

Adorable Braden and his host of toys are watching over the entrance of his fort!

How neat to have your own covered bridge on the path out to the barn. Love the cross!

Thinking a villa in Tuscany?? How about Jefferson County, Alabama!

God’s attention to the smallest detail-inside a tulip bloom! Wow!

As you may know by now, I swoon for macarons! What a pleasant surprise-8 different flavors!

Not sure if it’s the size, colors, or just the ability to park as you desire, but this did catch our eye. Great space saving idea for a narrow one way street!

Awaiting spring and some visitors to recline and enjoy the lake…sunny warm days will soon change this view!

A red barn, white snow, and a grayish-blue mountain…beautiful and All-American in its display!

Snow is a rare occurrence in the Appalachian foothills of northeast Alabama…so, please indulge us as we are beyond excited to share the snow edition of Simple + Southern Sunday! As beautiful and peaceful as it is, we are thrilled that snow is not a part of our everyday living!
