 The Seaside Chapel with its bell tower and simplistic design is the tallest building in this Florida beach townQueen Anne’s Lace covering our pasture!Nothing says summer fun like running through the sprinkler…Mary Grace, Elsie, and Virginia are certainly enjoying themselves! Mimosa trees with their pink flowers are abundant in the South!Delicious appetizer at Bottega Cafe – polenta croqueta with Benton’s ham!A snippet of our garden that is almost complete. ‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭3-4‬sss24 We hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day Weekend!  This past week found Butch in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Florida!  I joined him in Sandestin, but first enjoyed a couple of small towns (read here)!  Here is just a little glimpse into our week.  You can always find something interesting as you travel across our beautiful country! “Although no sculptured marble should rise to their memory, nor engraved stone bear record of their deeds, yet will their remembrance be as lasting as the land they honored”
-Daniel Webster Sandestin walkway to the bay!White sand…yellow umbrellas…turquoise water…blue skies! Romantic dinner with a gorgeous view! Pistachio crusted grouper with risotto, asparagus, and sweet
pistachio cream sauce!   Splendid flowers on my morning run at Sandestin!

 Mary Collins is ready for a weekend at the lake!   This bull in Oklahoma is decked out for Memorial Day!Patriotic tractor in Magnolia Springs!  Bliss on the Emerald Coast Hot buttery corn on the cob in our wonderful and historic downtown!  No, this is not in Italy, but Seaside, FL!
