Happy Tuesday sweet friends and I am so thrilled you are here. I am excited to share my first garden tablescape of the year. It is in celebration of the apricot drift roses that are in full bloom and more beautiful than ever before! You are invited to join me for simple pleasures in the garden!

Several of you have said that you aren’t familiar with drift roses. These repeat-blooming, compact roses are perfect for any size garden and they are easy to grow. They come in nine different colors and they have a heavenly fragrance. Ours are the apricot color and they were planted in 2015 when our garden was established.

Late Saturday afternoon as the fragrance of the roses was wafting in the breeze, I set a small table with tea and macarons to just enjoy a few simple pleasures!READ MORE

First light is gradually changing as the sun tracks a little further overhead each day!

A very common bloomer in fields and roadsides around home in late April is called Lyreleaf Sage. At least that is according to an App on my cell phone.READ MORE
