Happy Thursday dear friends! I love this verse I shared today, the cares of my heart have been so many over the past couple of weeks. What is so beautiful is that our loving Heavenly Father knows each one and they have all been sifted through His gracious Hands. How about the cares of your heart, are there many? One personal benefit of blogging is the journal that is being recorded for my family and myself. The blog has chronicled the successes and losses of our gardening. July is hot and humid in our Appalachian Foothills while the garden takes on the cooling shades of green and white! Panicle hydrangeas are showing out!
The tuteur is almost hidden among the vanilla-strawberry blooms! I highly recommend panicle hydrangeas for your garden. So what is a panicle hydrangea also known as a Hydrangea Paniculata? Panicle describes the shape and the arrangement of the blooms of the plant. It is easiest to think of them as football-shaped and sized. They are super easy, reliable, and very hardy. Flowers can almost be guaranteed because the flower buds are formed in late spring on new growth. They adapt to a variety of light levels, from full sun to partial shade. Happy Thursday sweet friends! It has rained and stormed the entire week. Seems like we are living in the tropics. In spite of the rain, progress has been made on the garden shed. I am so excited, so please forgive me for sharing more photos. It has also been amazing that flowers are blooming, with little or no sunshine. Let’s see what has transpired since last week!
The cedar shake roof is three-fourths finished. The roofer will be back next week to finish. Cypress strips were added to the board and batten siding…
…and cedar posts for the porch. Yesterday the interior received a primer coat of paint on the walls and ceiling. The painters will be back today!READ MORE
