A summer sunrise is certainly a wondrous deed, and something to always be thankful for. It is the close of the holiday weekend and I understand today is a very busy travel day. Happy July dear friends! I cannot believe 2024 is half over, can you? Hot and humid days continue in our Appalachian Foothills. But, it is the week that we celebrate Independence Day and we can almost guarantee it will be hot!

Many people will celebrate the 4th of July at the beach, boating on the lake, picnics at a park, or perhaps at home with family and friends! We will spend the 4th at home with Butch firing up the grill…and a freezer of home-made ice cream will definitely be on the menu!READ MORE
