“Panasonic” the pumpkin, being very much ahead of its time, had to be harvested last week. It seemed only right to gather some of our spent flowers that had yielded to the dry summer heat, and create a slight glimpse of autumn. I’m glad you found the energy to climb a couple of hundred feet to join me. I was surprised to see that the grounds were reasonably green. It had been 11 or 12 days since our last rain.
