Last week was warm for January, but most days were filled with clouds. This was Monday, which turned out to be our best day overall to see a lot of sky. Pam asked if I made this photo on the lake. The orange at the bottom does in fact look like a reflection off the water. The sun is below the horizon however, and this is all sunlight reflecting upward on clouds! As John Denver sang, “Welcome to my morning, welcome to my day”…welcome to SSS. The sky was a canvas this day and the Master Artist, as always, painted it perfectly.
