It’s the four letter word that paralyzes the deep south…
S-N-O-W
And guess what?! It is in our forecast for this weekend! For parts of the country where snow is common during the winter months, the words “wintry mix” would be no big deal. But for us southerners, we take no chances and raid the nearest grocery store for the two essentials: milk and bread! Since snow is such a rarity for us, it’s not uncommon for schools and businesses to shut down and for time to stand still! In hopeful preparation of a weekend of winter weather, I wanted to share with you all what a snow day might look like for me here in the Appalachian foothills!
We always love our view, but there’s just something about the winter snow that brings a calm!
There’s always the chance that we will lose power when it snows and accumulates…so a french press is a must for this coffee lovin’ girl!
