“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”
Galatians 5:22-23
When you think of Boston, what comes to mind? The world famous marathon? Red Sox? The Freedom Trail? Cream Pie? On our recent trip to New England, we spent three days in the lovely city, taking in the sights! There was no marathon running and no baseball watching, but we did get to visit the historic neighborhood of Beacon Hill! I was so delighted that our hotel was only a few blocks away, perfect for a stroll!
Beautiful Beacon Hill homes have filled the pages of shelter magazines that I have subscribed to for years, so I went into full blown tourist mode, with my camera in hand! Beacon Hill is a neighborhood of Federal-style row houses and narrow gaslit streets and brick sidewalks. Sadly, no one invited me inside, but I am sharing beautiful doors and window boxes of Beacon Hill, one of the most desirable and expensive neighborhoods in Boston! Lace up your shoes, the temperature is perfect and the sun is shining! Maybe we will burn enough calories for a slice of that yummy cream pie!
