Merry Tuesday sweet friends! Are you still shopping, wrapping, and baking? I can’t believe how quickly (or so it seems) that Christmas is almost here!

It is Tea On Tuesdays and I am so happy that I was able to set a tea table! If you read Simple + Southern Sunday you know that my RM spent five days in the hospital last week. I wasn’t sure that I would be able to get my act together, but finding time for tea is always great therapy!READ MORE

We love living in the country, but it is also a blessing to live near our city. I say “our” city because Pam and I were born and raised here! It’s  just the right size, and located in a beautiful mountain/lake/river setting. If we have a need for larger metros, a half dozen places come to mind that are easy to visit in a day, or even an afternoon or evening. It’s not often that this scene could be captured without more folks and more cars. Thanks to our dear friends Wade and Tiffany, we have some nice photos this week of Christmas around town!READ MORE

Christmas Memories In The Sunshine Cottage

Merry Tuesday sweet friends. Whether creating new ones, or stirring up old ones, the Sunshine Cottage is a great little place to experience Christmas memories.

Once again, the grandchildren’s tree is decorated with sweet treats ornaments. A few new ones were added this year. WL is not really impressed with the tree, he prefers tractors! At least his favorite among tractors seems to be green. Very seasonal!READ MORE
