Tablescape Tuesday: A Patio State Of Mind

“Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭139:23-24‬ ‭

I hope you were able to join us for our little stroll around the garden yesterday!  I feel like you all have been such a huge part in the transformation that has taken place, and we love sharing that with you…it almost seems as if you have been right in our backyard with us through the whole process!  Of course we will still be outside for today’s tablescape, but we are going to back it up a bit…today we are in a patio state of mind!  We still have a few things to do for it to be exactly how we want it…an arbor to be built and a couple of accent pieces.  And as with everything, it will happen in time! But we won’t let that stop us…let’s have a seat on the patio and enjoy a little dinner…what do you say?

I literally put this table setting together in about 15 minutes.  Don’t we all enjoy quick and easy?

It started with the tablecloth I purchased a couple of years ago at TJ Maxx…it just says English country to me!

Stella de Oro day lilies became the centerpiece!

A cream-color dinner plate…tangerine napkin…hand-crafted bark napkin ring!

Faux tortoise flatware from

Aqua stemware from Tuesday morning several years ago!

I love using the glass bottle vase runner from Kirklands!

    Muchas gracias, amigos.
Yesterday was happy taking a walk in your beautiful garden so graciously invited us to your friends. The garden is already well developed, you have done hard work.
Today I join you in that beautiful table you have prepared. I love napkins and napkin rings, lilies are great … everything is beautiful, everything is beautiful because it is exactly the place you prepared with love … That’s the secret.
    Many thanks friends.

    • Dolores, thank you for taking a walk in our garden. It has been a lot of hard work but worth it! We enjoy having dinner alfresco. Wish you lived close enough to join us! Blessings, Pam

Dolores, gracias por tomar un paseo en nuestro jardín. Ha habido un montón de trabajo duro, pero vale la pena! Nos gusta tener la cena al aire libre. Deseo que vivió lo suficiente para unirse a nosotros! Bendiciones, Pam

What a show-stopper those day lilies are! The combo of colors is beautiful with all your woodsy tones and textures you’ve added to the mix. The picture with the day lilies at the forefront and the garden behind gives such a beautiful gathering of colors that mimics the lovely table cloth. I enjoyed your setting so much! Thanks for getting us back out into the garden to enjoy it again so soon. Tuesday blessings to you!

    • Kim, thanks do much for your encouraging words. The weather has been so nice, I just haven’t wanted to stay inside. But, we do need rain! I tried commenting on your post last night and it wouldn’t let me. Am I the only one who is having problems? It maybe be on my end, let me know because I always read and enjoy! Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday!

  3. OH my… where do I start. First your tablescape is gorgeous. Love the Daylilies, the flatware, the glasses, the plate stack on and on. The napkin rings are amazing, did you make them? What a gorgeous spot to relax and have a meal. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, quick and easy is always wonderful! I love the bottle runner as well. I have a crate that holds 6 bottles and I love filling it with fresh flowers for tablescapes as well. Truly a delightful table Pam! Thanks for sharing with SYC.

  5. Mary says:

Oh so pretty Pam! Your blooming tablecloth provided such a cheery vintage foundation for your table and I love your daylily centerpiece~ simple and pretty with your garden in the background!

  6. Stacey says:

This is so pretty! I love the idea of cutting Stellas for a vase. We never do that.

Sharing on Facebook today. Happy Thoughts of Home. 😉

  7. Patio perfection Pam! The centerpiece is so perfect for an outdoor setting, I love the unique bottles. The aqua stemware caught my eye too, so pretty and again unique. Don’t you love tables that come together in minutes, they are often much better than ones labored over! Your garden, yard and grounds are just stunning, you must feel like you live at an exclusive Inn-

    • Jenna, there is still so much work to do. We have so many more projects to accomplish and my husband will be traveling more over the summer and I usually go with him on long trips! I am hoping to get an armor over the patio this summer!

  8. Michelle says:

Hi Pam, It’s been awhile since I’ve dined here! What a beautiful centerpiece. I never think of cutting a few day lilies to use as a centerpiece. Mine are beginning to bloom and I’ll have to remember this for the next dinner party I host. Great idea. Everything came together so lovely. So I won’t take so long to come back here to see your gorgeous gardens I’m inviting you to link your posts up at my Thursday link up party – Party at My Place. It begins at 6:00 a.m. EST on Thursdays. Not to late to link up.

  9. Sandra Garth says:

I am a huge fan of quick and easy and often wonder if I should labor a bit more over my tables. Most of the time the answer is no! This is absolutely gorgeous and the orange is so refreshing. Thank you for generously sharing your links with us at Celebrate Your Story.
