Hello, I am Pam and I am so glad you landed here at Everyday Living! I am a wife, mother, and recently a first-time grandmother. I could spend hours telling you about our sweet Ella Mae, but I will spare you…but fair warning I will find ways to sneak her into blog posts!
My faith in Jesus Christ is the single most important thing in my life. My family holds the second place in my heart, followed by friendships which means you, my sweet readers! I am passionate about teaching God’s Word to small groups of women, mentoring them and seeing them made more and more into the likeness of Jesus! I have been a church musician longer than I will tell you…let’s just say I was a child prodigy! I play keyboard and sing on our worship team at church, along with my sweet hubby and our son who leads worship.
I am a retired and yes, tired interior decorator! I do still love to do new projects in my home to share with you on the blog, but that is not all you will find here! I love to entertain and set welcoming tables that invite you to linger for conversation long after the meal is finished. But, isn’t a beautifully set table meaningless without good food?! That’s the best part! I love spending time in the kitchen preparing Southern cuisine with a little foodie flair! You can expect weekly tablescapes and recipes…many passed down from my Mother (who was the best cook) along the way! My newest hobby is gardening…and you will find yourselves there with us often as I share much from our beloved backyard space! There are challenges of the long hot and most often dry summers in the Appalachian Foothills of NE Alabama that we battle when working the garden! We love to travel, so you might find us anywhere in the US or across the oceans, and we take you with us as we share our experiences with our readers! I am a passionate reader and through the love of reading, I think of myself as a life-long learner.
Occasionally my sweetheart will write a post, so let me introduce him…
Donnie is the real name, but not used very often. Born in ‘ 51, born again in ’70. Passionate about the outdoors, especially hunting, running, traveling, and even yard work! As a musician, singer, and songwriter; music has “played” a significant role throughout my life. Reading is quite relaxing and very rewarding,- so much so, that finishing several books each month is typical. But, life’s greatest joys come from being a child of God, husband, father, and most recently grandfather “Da” to Ella Mae!

We must be neighbors! I am from Gadsden. I was doing a search of bloggers in or around my area to connect with, and found your site. http://walkinginmydestiny.com/ is where my writing “home” is, and its where I pen the words my Abba Father gives me…
Would love to connect with you guys sometime, as I am looking to build some relationships in the blog community. I am also a member of Birmingham Bloggers, as well as Alabama Bloggers.

I attended a presentations you did for the OLLI program last year. Was wondering if you might be able to do a presentation for a teacher’s organization, Beta Pi. We have around 20 active members. We are going to be planning our 2016/2017 Programs on September 6th. If you think you might be interested in doing one of our programs please leave me a reply. Thank You, Judy

Hi Pam!
I came across your blog while looking for the blue and white, Myott “Queens Seasons Greetings” plates, interestingly enough! I live in Ocala, FL and have been looking for these plates for years. We have a Tuesday Morning here but I have never seen the Season’s Greetings reproduction plates there.
I guess that I am asking if you ever come across any more please let me know.
And I LOVED your heading! Yes, Jesus most certainly understands… and redeems!!!
I don’t do FB, Twitter or Instagram so Here the only way to reach me is by email. Thanks for any help 🙂
