“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”
John 10:11
One of my favorite times of the year to have my family over is just around the corner! Easter arrives and we see chicks and bunnies and eggs galore! It is our tradition to go to church and worship, and then come back to our home for a family day! At the forefront of our day is the real meaning of Easter…the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! This year, we will have a new addition to our Easter table…it’s Ella Mae’s first Easter! I absolutely can’t wait to see her in her pretty smocked dress! And this PJ gets so excited to think about dyeing eggs and having an Easter Egg Hunt for our little princess next year! Pull up a seat, (and I hope you’ve brought your appetite) to An Easter Celebration!

When I think of Easter, I automatically think of pretty pastels for our table!
I can’t seem to get enough of hyacinths, so they show up as the centerpiece once again…this time in a pastel lavender! Noritake “Reverie” stemware graces the table.
A sweet Fitz and Floyd bunny hopped onto the table!
The table runner announces that Easter is here and guess where it came from? TJ Maxx, of course!
Chalk eggs hold pastel yellow napkins. Can you believe these came from Cracker Barrel?
The vase of hyacinths is resting on a crystal moss-covered cake plate with faux eggs.
Chalk eggs fill a hurricane globe…love all the colors!
My Noritake wedding china “Reverie” is always used for Easter! Its delicate floral pattern in beautiful pastels is perfect!

Proverbs 25:11

Lovely Easter table, Pam! I know this is very special for your family, and especially this year. Every special occasion will be so fun with Ella Mae. You are blessed! Your menu looks delicious, too. You’re brave to publish it. You may have a few extra people knocking on your door this year. Wink.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Kim, I hadn’t thought of people arriving at my door! We are expecting very severe weather today. All schools were canceled and Butch is working from home. Is your weather supposed to be bad?

The table is simply spectacular, I love it. Every detail deserves attention because they are very nice details, and in general the tonalities are very pleasant and spring.
In Spain we do not make special meals but we do elaborate desserts and sweets that are a temptation (for the kilos we can win) such as “torrijas”, a simple sweet but very caloric. It is customary to arrive home after the Easter Crafts, serve a coffee or tea and is accompanied with torrijas. Hmmm
Bon appetit !! That the French would say …

Easter is the perfect time for pastels and you show them well. This is one time of year I do no table as the Easter activities take place at a daughter’s. Enjoy your celebration with family.

Pam, LOVELY EASTER TABLE!!! Your Easter tradition is spot on and think Jesus is the best. I enjoyed this post seeing the pastel colored decorations. LOVE bunnies and am placing some about my home. I have to get Easter baskets made up and placed in the mail. Dying eggs and easter egg hunts are traditional here. Worshipping the risen Savior is as well. Easter baskets with candy a must. Chocolate foiled wrapped eggs a treat. God bless and all the best!

Your Easter table runner is so adorable! Take photos of Ella Mae in her smocked dress. I want to see her wearing it because I think little girls in smocked dresses is just the cutest thing.
