” Blessed be the name of the Lord
from this time forth and forevermore…
…From the rising of the sun to its setting,
the name of the Lord is to be praised!

The garden is showing signs that summer is winding down!
A Gulf fritillary finds its favorite….lantana!
Some tell us this is a fungus called orange bracket. Any experts out there?
“Them old cotton fields back home” are about to turn white unto harvest.
The apricot drift roses are blooming again and as pretty as ever!
Some fly the flag proudly but this fella drives the flag proudly!
Black Eyed Susan time is here again.
A calm and peaceful close of another day!
Sunrise, sunset, swiftly flow the days…
” Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.

Lovely photographs. I have a floribunda rose similar to your apricot drift, maybe a bit more pink. Haven’t seen it since last Autumn, though it had a good crop of rose hips. Very interesting for me to see the cotton. It doesn’t grow around here.
Thank you dearest Cath!❤️
Wow, beautiful photography! Love myself some Ella Mae, sunsets, butterflies and roses. It’s as good as you can get.
Thank you sweet Alice❤️
Your pictures of sunsets are always so calming, Pam. I’ve never seen a fungus like that…super cool! Please tell Ella Mae she always makes an excellent choice in shoes! Have a wonderful Sunday.
Thank you sweet friend! Blessings for today❤️
As always such beauty to begin my Sunday. Your lantana is so full and pretty, that is the way I remember how it grew in Virginia. It does love the sun, heat and humidity of the south. I have never seen a fungus like what you have shown – the color is something. Seeing the cotton always makes me happy, do you use it in any of your floral arrangements? In Colonial Williamsburg, they would put it in their holiday wreaths, along with oyster shells – I always loved seeing it.
Pam, your Ella Mae is growing too fast, she is a little beauty. Thank you for the beauty share and, as always, I am at a loss for words for the sunset.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful day and week ahead!
Thank you dear Sandra. I haven’t used cotton, but I will in the future Floral Friday’s. I took the sunset photo last week at our house, the camera didn’t capture the real beauty of the colors. Have a wonderful week dear friend❤️
A beautiful Sunday because of your beautiful photos!
Blessings sweet friend!
Autumn appears and the colors begin to adorn the atmosphere. Wonderful!!!
I love autumn: the colors, the weather, the whole nature is dressed in colors that invite you to have a hot coffee and talk in peace with friends.
Ella Mae, is a calm and adorable girl. She always appears with a smile that makes her very sweet and very beautiful … it’s beautiful!
Well, let’s give a welcome to the sweet autumn …
Dolores
Hola Dolores, estoy listo para el otoño. Todavía hace mucho calor aquí, pero esperemos que la caída esté aquí pronto. Espero que estés bien amigo y disfrutes del cambio de estación. Bendiciones y abrazos, Pam
From the rising of the sun to its setting and everything in between speaks of love and creation. Your Sunday posts add so much to my Sunday’s and my worship. Your inclusion of scripture is a special blessing to this follower of Christ.
Thank you Dianne, blessings on you and your family!

What a beautiful post of beautiful pictures and beautiful words! I love sunsets too, they are always different, like snowflakes. And how can one not slide in a picture of the dearest & sweetest thing this side of Heaven – our grand babies!! I have watched that sweet little Ella Mae grow from birth to this little cute munchkin today – I don’t know her but it seems like I do, and it is because of her sweet grandmama!
Esther, what sweet comments dear friend! Wishing you a most wonderfully blessed week! Love and hugs❤️
