“Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.”
1 Peter 4:8
The photo below is that of a gorgeous autumn reflection. May this remind us to reflect upon the service and sacrifice of our Veterans with honor and thankfulness on this Veterans Day.
A special moment when the light is just right and the water is perfectly still reflects the beauty of a late afternoon in early November!
I suppose this is why we call it “fall”.
Many Camellias bloom around Christmas but our Camellia Sasanqua always gets an early start!
Some common autumn sights and colors all gathered together on our porch!
I guess Ella Mae has decided to inspect the limb above to be sure this swing is safe!
The creek above Noccalula Falls is framed in red and gold on a beautiful day!
A little “pick me up”. This will get you going!
There is something about looking toward the heavens that can be awe inspiring!
The Apricot Drift Rose has new blooms that are as pretty as we’ve seen all year. Our predicted first freeze of the season is coming in a few days and will likely put these to rest until next Spring!
Finally time for this old JD to rest and pose for pics!
…and love never ends. I Corinthians 13 is a love story!
I am excited to join 19 talented bloggers to bring you a week of Thanksgiving Tablescapes. I will be sharing mine tomorrow!

That grandchild of yours is as beautiful as anything nature offers! We had our first frost this morning, and the smoke moving on the river reflects the change in air and water temps as I write this. It’s a beautiful day.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
We had a big frost this morning, Rita. For the next 4 days, we will have rain and the highs will be in the 40’s.

Good Sunday morning, Pam. It is always wonderful to spend a bit of time with you on Sunday mornings. Your photos are beautiful. The color of your camellia is outstanding – I so miss them. Too cold for them in WV as it was 26 on the back porch this morning. And, precious Ella Mae – grows more beautiful in every photo.
Wishing you a beautiful day. Blessings, dear friend.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you sweet friend. My camellia bush is loaded with buds, the most ever. Have a beauty-filled week!

We are having snow this Sunday and a high of 29 but we are nice and toasty by the fireplace for the time being but will dress for the weather and be at church by 9:00 to host the West entry to our church. This weather makes me want to start decorating for Christmas and singing Christmas carols? I miss having camellia’s to place in a bowl this time of year when every flower has retired for the year. Miss Ella Mae in her pretty dress is as beautiful as any flower. Have a blessed Sunday.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
I love reading how you serve at your church, Alice! I guess that could be cold, standing at the entry welcoming folks. But I know your sweet greetings warmed hearts! I am ready to start decorating for Christmas and I am play Christmas music!
