“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.”
John 15:12
Hello dear friends. I was so thrilled to welcome my favorite season’s official arrival yesterday. No, it doesn’t feel like autumn, but surely it will happen in a few weeks. Once again you find me in the garden for Tablescape Tuesday.
“Fall has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.”
-Lauren DeStefano
Setting a table in the fading garden has all the autumn feels!
The Williams Sonoma “Harvest Pumpkin” salad plates were added to my dish collection last year and were my inspiration for this table setting.
This dinnerware is inspired by Dutch still life painting. Ripe gourds, fruit, and leaves are set against a bold black glaze, and each rim is hand-painted in 14-karat gold alloy.
“It was one of the loveliest days in early autumn, and the general atmosphere had a tendency to subdue every feeling of the heart, and threw me in a thoughtful mood.”
-Charles Lanman
Amber stemware that was bought so long ago is a favorite for this season!
Zinnias and American beautyberry combine for a centerpiece!
American Atelier “baroque” dinner plates and pitcher are one of my go-to’s!
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:”
Ecclesiastes 3:1
Pumpkin-colored vintage linen napkins and gold flatware…
…accent the pumpkin salad plates!
Autumn casts beautiful light over the pasture…
…and over the leaves in the garden!
Thank you for your visits and gracious comments, they truly make my day!

Autumn has arrived…now if the temps could cooperate with you.
Those Pumpkin plates are stunning! Gorgeous for your Autumn garden.
Your Zinnias are still quite striking!
Happy Tuesday my friend!
Thank you my friend! Enjoy your Tuesday!

Can’t wait for our weekend next month!!!!
Susanne, I love you and so excited for our weekend. Thank you my sweet forever friend!❤️
My dear friend, autumn has not yet shown his face, but the images are fantastic. The dishes are very original and very beautiful, I love all the autumn motifs, they are beautiful.
The garden is magnificent but still does not look autumnal. Let’s take the time from time to time, it’s just a matter of a few days … like everything in life, you don’t have to hurry, everything comes … fortunately.
A magnificent time, a beautiful table, the garden in all its beauty … who gives more!

So gorgeous Pam! Every time I see zinnias I think of you 🙂 Your arrangement in the pretty white pitcher is so simple but just perfect for this garden table, it compliments without taking away from the whole setting. I am drooling over your pumpkin plates, soooo pretty! Love the stemware and the soft autumn colors in your tablecloth…
Jenna
Thank you so much Jenna! Have a beautiful day 🍂🧡🍂
Those pumpkin plates are stunning!! Beautiful tablescapes!
Thank you so much Stacy 🍁🧡🍁
I was so mixed up when I commented here the other day – I mistakenly thought the first day of fall was 9/21! LOL! But, it truly IS officially here, now! So, happy fall to you, sweet friend, and once again, you have outdone yourself. This tablescape is SO warm and inviting and fall-like! Many blessings to you today!
Happy Fall to you sweet friend. Thank you and wishing you a joy-filled day 🧡🍂💛
Everyone has the same word for your plates! Stunning!!! The table is just beautiful with the pitcher of zinnias and the amber glassware. The light in your garden definitely has changed even if the temperature has not, so lovely. Pam, would you believe Kohl’s shipped my replacement plates and once again did not cushion them?!? This time I called customer service and politely asked for a supervisor. She could not believe it either, told me to throw the broken plates away, and was sending a message up the line to a VP. The next set is on its way…we shall see!
Thank you sweet friend. I cannot believe any shipping department would send out anything breakable with no bubble wrap, packing, etc. I hope you get your plates in good condition soon. Have a wonderful day 🧡🍁💛
Pam, an absolutely gorgeous table. What a treat it would be to enjoy being a guest at stunning table. Your autumn plates are so pretty and certainly set the autumn mood, even if the temperatures do not.
Also, love the quotes and of course, your zinnias. Have a wonderful day and week, sweet friend. 💛
Thank you sweet Sandra. I would be so happy to have you join me at a table in the garden. I just know we could talk for hours. Have a beautiful day my friend 🧡🍂💛

Gorgeous! The table cloth sets the theme…and those plates!
Luann, thanks so much! Have a beautiful week.
Lovely nod to fall. The vintage napkins look so nice with the WS pumpkin plates and your tablecloth. Of course the pretty pitcher full of zinnias and beauty berry brings happy colors and texture to your fall table.
Love your stacked pumpkins in your urn.
We will be in Texas probably until next week.

Thank you so much!
Such a beautiful autumn table set in your lovely garden, Pam! I adore those pretty plates and remember you using them last autumn. The pretty, colorful zinnia bouquet and autumn colored table linens compliment everything perfectly! Happy Fall, sweet friend!!!
Thank you dear Shannon. Happy Fall to you my friend!
Love it all Pam. The white pitcher with the beautiful bouquet is so very pretty. Those chargers! I love!!! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Thanks so much Cindy, happy Fall!
Pam, This is gorgeous! I peeked at it on my cell phone on Tuesday but didn’t have time to comment. I love the pastel pink and large checks of the tablecloth in contrast to the dark Harvest Pumpkin plates. It’s always a treat to have a virtual seat at a table in your garden. ♥
Thank you dear Mary. I am so anxious for cooler temps and some badly needed rain!
Beautiful table and stunning backdrop! I love everything here from those eye-catching, bold pumpkin plates, to the tablecloth that I am now coveting.
Thanks so much Pattie! Happy Fall 🍂🍁🍂
That looks so inviting!
Thanks so much!
Your table setting is very pretty — fall colors, but in the softer shades. I like all the touches of white you’ve used to keep it light. And I’m truly envious of your garden. Mine is forlorn, drought-stricken, barely holding on. But there’s always spring…
Thanks so much Sandra! The sprinklers have been running constantly.
Absolutely lovely!
Thank you Mary!
Oh, what a beautiful place for eating outdoors. I love how you dressed up your table for fall!
Thanks so much Anne!
Pam, I absolutely love these plates and you have done an amazing job with color combinations that showcase these plates. I purchased these plates last year and I think they may always be my favorite. I can’t seem to keep up lately. Blessings wonderful friend.
Thank you Dianne. I love their dramatic feel that they add to the table!
