“Grandchildren are the crown of the aged, and the glory of children is their fathers.”
Proverbs 17:6
Happy Thursday sweet readers. I think we are all in need of smiles and some light-hearted fun. Our youngest Princess turned one on March 26! A very small party was planned, keeping in mind social distancing. None of this quarantine business seemed to have any effect on the youngest party goer and guest of honor! Ella Mae had comforted everyone earlier by stating “if the virus comes to our house, we’ll just have to go live in the camper!”
“Grandchildren are the reward for growing older”

Our sweet daughter-in-love crafted all the decorations and planned the perfect party…she is a wonderful Mommy!
Pizza was picked up curbside for the party! No photos, because once the food was available, all phones and cameras were tossed aside in favor of plates!
The theme was “Swan Princess”, with the cutest cake that was also delicious! Allison makes the best buttercream icing.
Cookies to celebrate our “Little Princess”, Emma!
Emma’s initial reaction is one of, “what is all this foolishness among grown people and this bird in front of my face?” OK, with the bird out of the way, this pink thing does feel soft to the touch. In fact this is nice to rub on your face. It is actually quite enjoyable to get it all over you! However, one tiny touch of her mommy’s icing to her lips and Emma is forever a “sweetie”!
Emma loved her bubble blowing lawn mower (and lots of other “stuff”)!
Someone else was also excited about the lawn mower and happy to give a demonstration on its safe and proper use!
Precious sisters in their matching swan princess dresses!
Emma is very sensitive and the word “no” can bring a quick tear. She does like to laugh though, and especially at her big sister!
The sweet, blue-eyed, fair complected Emma loves to snuggle, but changes her mind when given the opportunity to be on the move outside! We guess that “runs” in the family!
All grandparents know the joy grandchildren bring. Thank you for your visits and gracious comments. Wishing you a delightful day!
