Welcome sweet friends! I know this is a busy week preparing for Thanksgiving Day! Perhaps you need to prop up your feet, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, and just rest for a few minutes!
“Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”
Isaiah 7:14 (ESV)
Today I am sharing fifteen Christmas tablescapes to start you thinking about the Christmas season. Click on the highlighted links to see the original posts.
A pair of angels made their first visit to our dining room table! They have moved all over the house and I finally decided to use them for “a most wonderful time of the year” tablescape!
Early morning, late fall and winter, the sun casts beautiful light in the dining room!
Butch wrote a Christmas song years ago that was titled “In a Manger”! The sparkling water globe depicts the manger scene!
I received this beautiful gift of Bethlehem Christmas dinnerware from Lydia’s House in 2016. That year on Christmas Day began a tradition that still continues using the 8 different designs that share the birth of Jesus according to the scriptures!
Finding time for tea during this busy season is a must. A Fitz and Floyd Santa teapot sets the stage for teatime in the Sunshine Cottage!
Nikko ‘Happy Holidays’ is my oldest Christmas china. The pattern features a festive Christmas tree decorated with presents, toys, garlands, and ornaments.
Longtime readers know that I am a collector! My collection of Steinbach nutcrackers was the inspiration for a nutcracker parade tablescape. I also had the idea to change it from a white tablecloth to a…
…table runner using nutcracker wrapping paper for two different looks. This was not the first time that I had used wrapping paper for a tabletop!
Do you ever long for an old time Christmas? A time when the season was simpler?
A seasons greetings tablescape incorporated my love of tartan plaid and blue and white dishes!
“It’s that time of year when the world falls in love, every song you hear seems to say Merry Christmas!” Salad plates depict Christmas village scenes and Christmas wreath ornaments serve as napkin rings. Tip: Buy salad plates: they require less storage space and are not as expensive as dinner plates.
Sunshine Cottage provides a perfect spot for a cozy Christmas table…
…and a simple flower arrangement!
“All is calm, all is bright!” How can we find calm in the midst of a chaotic world? How can all be bright in a dark world? The answer to those two questions is found only in Jesus!
The blue and white ‘Seasons Greetings’ by Queens dishware was found several years ago at Tuesday Morning. I really miss that store!
JOY is a three letter word that describes a feeling of great pleasure and happiness. What brings you joy during the Christmas season?
Early morning sun dances across the dining table! As an April Cornell brand ambassador I have received beautiful linens for several years including this tablecloth and napkins.
Fitz and Floyd ‘winter holiday’ dinner plates are placed on faux cedar placemats and Bordallo Pinheiro cabbageware salad plates top the stack!
A cozy cottage Christmas at a table for two!
For a Christmas blessings and blooms table, a teapot holds carnations and fresh greenery. This is an easy to do arrangement, no necessary skill involved!
Longtime readers will remember my red dining room. The First Noel tablescape remains a favorite of mine!
I dressed the chair backs and included a copy of The First Noel!
Fresh greenery and fruit created an all natural tablescape! This image provides a glimpse into the family room where the hearth held all the pieces of the large nativity. As time passed, the wise men lost fingers and were cracking so we no longer use them!
EM, EK, and I had fun at our tea party with the nutcrackers!
The girls love the large musical Christoper Radko Santa nutcracker!
I will be joining 17 table stylists for a Christmas Tablescape Blog Hop on December 2nd. There will be lots of ideas and inspiration for your Christmas tables!
Thank you for your visit and gracious comments. Wishing you a joy-filled week of Thanksgiving!

These are all lovely, Pam. I tend to like the simpler, homier ones. The tartans work well for that, don’t they? I love all your centerpieces, especially the pineapple!
Thank you Jeanie! I also love the tartans. The pineapple centerpiece is so easy!
I love the cozy feeling the Sunshine Cottagr delivers, but setting the table for your family must have your heart ready to burst with gratitude! These are all full of beauty and creativity, Pam. I’m looking forward to next week’s hop!
Thank you Rita. I am also looking forward to the hop!
Good morning Pam, What a beautiful round up of Christmas tables! I couldn’t begin to choose a favorite, but your nutcracker parade with the wrapping paper runner is a strong contender and I love your chair backs embellished with tulle and a copy of The First Noel! Looking forward to seeing your tables next week.🎄Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving week. 🦃🧡
Thank you Mary. I am busy trying to deck the halls today! ❤️
Love to see all the tablescapes. All of these are so pretty and beautiful for the holiday. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Hugs. Kris
Thanks so much. Kris! Sending hugs to you!
Dear Pam…your 🎄 tablescapes are all so welcoming. I look forward to seeing your collections every year and I find myself looking for your mother’s ceramic Christmas tree napkin rings and your village honoring your daddy, and the beautiful gifted Bethlehem plates and the colbot blues, so many wonderful settings, your nutcrackers, geez, everything… I have some of the same napkins (roses) and inspired by your tablescapes mixed them with my plaid tablecloth. Love visiting your tables at Christmas time. I can hardly wait to see what’s coming…tis the season❣️
Sue, thank you for your sweet comments. I love pulling out the same dishes, linens, collections, etc. every year! All of it has memories and I enjoy reminiscing. Wishing you a lovely Thanksgiving!
Looks like the first step to making it a December to remember! It was so easy to get lost in the beauty of each image!
Thank you Mary! You are so sweet!
Love all of your tables. No one is more beautiful than the last and I do remember your red dining room. It too was beautiful. I would love to hear Butch sing his song. And yes I yearn for Christmas’ past. We saw so many nutcrackers while in Germany that I couldn’t choose one but saw some here and they show up proudly every Christmas.
Thank you, Alice. I also saw nutcrackers in Germany but didn’t buy any. Wishing you a lovely Thanksgiving!
Pam, what a wonderful round-up of Christmas tables – just in time for the Christmas season. They are all so beautiful that I hardly know where to start, much less choose a favorite. I’ve always admired your ability to mix patterns and textures, and capturing the perfect light in both your dining room and the Sunshine Cottage is also something I look forward too and try and learn from. The AC linens and your collection of stemware is amazing. Just lovely, all of it. Thanks for all the wonderful inspiration and so looking forward to the upcoming blog hop!
Kim, your comments are heartwarming! I also am looking forward to the blog hop and seeing your beautiful table!
I look forward to your Christmas tablescape every year. Your talents are widespread. I truly enjoyed seeing you yesterday. Wishing you, Butch and family a wonderful holiday season.
Thank you so much, Gina. It was wonderful seeing you and having a little time to talk. I told Butch that I had seen you and gave him your well wishes. He was appreciative of your sweet words! Happy Thanksgiving, our friend!
Pam, this post is full of inspiration as I decide what I’ll do this year. Of course, I’m fond of using my tartan, and that has been front and center in my thoughts recently. I never know until I actually start though. So many choices! Ha! Ha! Seeing your darling nutcracker dishes reminded me that I passed mine along to my niece several years ago. I always look forward to seeing how she styles tables with pieces that had lived here on our table. She always has a fresh, young approach which I admire. I do love the natural look for a centerpiece. I often use potted blooming bulbs because they take me through the month. That said, I’ve yet to buy any that are in bloom. I did buy white cyclamen this week which I’ll plant in containers. It’s going to be much cooler tomorrow, so I’m looking forward to sweater weather.
Happy Thanksgiving.
I am proud to say that I have seen each one when you posted them. I sure do love anything with Tartan plaid. I have Tartan plaid dishes with Spode Christmas plates on my dining table right now.
Your sparkling water globe with the manger is such a stunning centerpiece. And then to be reminded of Butch’s song made me love it even more.
Thank you for the Christmas round-up! It was beautiful!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Your Christmas tables are all beautiful. I love those gorgeous angels! Thank you for sharing them with us. They are all great inspiration! Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 Clara ❤️
Pam, such a beautiful round-up of Christmas tablescapes. Pretty angel, lovely tartan and that fabulous pineapple centerpiece. The musical Christoper Radko Santa nutcracker is darling and I can see why it is your grands favorite. The nutcarcker parade is darling too. So many, difficult to pick a favorite. Christmas blessings to you and your sweet family.
Each one of your tablescapes are just beautiful! You are so incredibly talented and I’m so glad you share it with us here. Many blessings to you and your family!
