Welcome sweet friends! When the cold and gray days of winter have settled in, it is so lovely to have a sweet celebration in the middle of February…Valentine’s Day! With the thoughts of this special day, I rounded up tables to hopefully give you some ideas and inspiration!

It would not be Valentine’s Day without the red velvet heart with a gold crown!
My family room coffee table is set with tea and sweets. Red, white, and pink flowers were arranged in six small jars with plastic bags to hold them in place for an easy floral arrangement!
Valentine’s Day – A Celebration Of Love
For an easy centerpiece, a rustic dough bowl was filled with moss and a few pine cones. Red candles were placed in small brass holders that were easily covered by moss. It took all of five minutes to make!
Lots Of Love: A Valentine’s Day Tablescape
My dining room table was set for four with a beautiful pink cashmere scarf as a table runner. The scarf was topped with eucalyptus, baby’s breath, and pink rosebuds! Later in this post, you will see the stacked plates centerpiece.
Flowers and sweets are definitely appropriate for a Valentine’s dinner!
The ‘toile pink’ scalloped dishware is by Churchill of England and was the star of the table! Spray roses and seeded eucalyptus were place in the matching pitcher and bowl. I rarely use this set of dishes and they have been spoken for by my EM!
Monday Morning Blooms – What’s Not To Love?
My coffee table was set with friends in mind! Coffee, conversations, and sweet treats…what’s not to love? An arrangement of pale pink and white lisianthus, rose-colored alstromeria, and seeded eucalyptus was placed in my silver teapot.
Valentine’s In The Sunshine Cottage
This was my first Valentine’s in the Sunshine Cottage! A special card was given a place of honor. Long-time readers know I save cards. Did you notice the pitcher of flowers is resting upon a plate stack?
L-O-V-E {A Valentine’s Day Tablescape}
That time I could not find a table runner, and wrapping paper came to the rescue! Tip: When tablescaping, think outside the box!
Reservations For 2 At The Sunshine Cottage
I didn’t have any trouble getting reservations for a romantic table for 2 in the Sunshine Cottage! The chef prepared a delicious meal!
The Softer Side Of Valentine’s
Straying from my usual tablescapes filled with color, this was a softer table with pops of red!
I am traditional in my celebration of Valentine’s Day, red and pink are the colors of love!

A beautiful round up of tables for celebrating Valentine’s Day Pam! I have a hard time choosing a favorite. 🥰 I have a set of four toile pink dinner plates too…I love that EM has spoken for them, a future table stylist! 🍽️I hope you’re staying warm and cozy, it’s a chilly morning here. Happy Thursday.❤️
Thank you, Mary. It has been a very windy and cold day❤️

Thank you, Jeanie! It is a challenge to make it look a little different when I typically use the same dishes over and over again!
Each so pretty
I like the shadow playing across the heart shaped plate

Such wonderful inspiration here! I am always rather stymied by Valentine’s Day. I just don’t have a lot of Valentine’s Day items with which to set a table. I’ll come up with something.
Thank you, Pattie! Yes, I know you will come up with something great!
A beautiful memory for me. I love all your plates and the plate stack was so cute. Your imagination has no limit. Your romantic heart thrills even me. EM has good taste. Following her grandmothers steps.

Oh my gosh Pam, these are all beautiful so pretty and romantic. The wrapping paper table runner was definitely inspired! That is so sweet that EM already spoke for the toile dishes – she has good taste, just like her PJ. I don’t normally think of pink and red together but you have showcased it perfectly. Thank you for all this wonderful inspiration and happy Thursday and rest of the week to you!
Thanks so much, Kim. I look forward to your Valentine’s tablescape. Wrapping paper has come in handy several times! Enjoy the rest of your week my friend!
Pam, what a wonderful look back at all your “heartfelt” table settings for Valentine’s. My snowpeople get center stage in January, but with just a month till Valentine’s Day, I decided to bring out some hearts to mix among the snowpeople. Still a work in progress, but visiting each of these past posts are inspiring me with more ideas. Thank you! Looking forward to your table for the hop on the 27th. My table is in progress.
Thanks so much, Sarah! I love your snow people. I know your Valentine’s table will be beautiful in its detail and your gorgeous collections!
