Happy Tuesday sweet friends. Since this is the third Tuesday of the month it would normally be our Tea On Tuesdays. However, Mary and I moved this month’s tea to next Tuesday which is June 23rd. I hope you will join us and our special guest!
“He covers the heavens with clouds; he prepares rain for the earth; he makes grass grow on the hills.”
Psalm 147:8 (ESV)
Summer officially begins this coming Sunday, June 21st. Let’s welcome summer with eighteen summer tablescapes to inspire and offer ideas for your summer entertaining! To visit the original posts, click on the highlighted links!
Welcoming Summer With A Garden Tablescape
The table was intentionally kept simple to allow the centerpiece of Hydrangea Arborescens ‘Invincible Spirit’ to get the attention it deserved. The ‘Cottage Rose’ tablecloth by April Cornell brings the English Country style to the garden table!
I love to include an element on each table that evokes wonderful memories. The beautiful patchwork quilt top was made by my beloved Mother more than fifty years ago! With the sunflowers, the table seems to sing of summer!
Bees are buzzing in our garden throughout the summer season. It was only fair to celebrate our pollinator friends with a table! Their constant buzzing provides dinner’s background music!
A variety of hydrangeas are overflowing from a treasured pitcher passed down from my maternal grandmother!
‘Little Lambs’ panicled hydrangeas graciously fill my beloved Mother’s basket! You can read how simple and easy this arrangement was, no skills involved!
Another treasured keepsake is this gorgeous “Grandmother’s Flower Garden” quilt that was also passed down from my paternal grandmother. Of course, I would never serve food on this quilt!
We plant sunflowers every year and I love using them for arrangements!
You might have noticed by now that hydrangeas play a big part in my summertime arrangements. This particular table has a unique but comical story. At least it is funny now, not so much then!
A Flower Arrangement From The Summer Garden
A plaid tablecloth with complementing plate stacks support summer blooms, cut from our garden and overflowing in a stoneware crock!
Say Hello to Summer With a Garden Tablescape
My love of mixing patterns is on display on this summery table!
Our picnic table next to the woodlands provides a shady spot for summer dining! A few collected majolica pieces escaped the bookcase to add a little charm to a rustic table!
A wooden box was used for snowflake hydrangeas, immature limelights, sunflowers, and hosta. Lastly, I placed lemons on skewers for a fresh arrangement! Lemon napkins and a citrus tablecloth completed the setting!
Zinnias are a mainstay of our summer gardens! A ‘zinnia bouquet’ tablecloth paired splendidly with zinnias cut from the garden.
I don’t know what it is about beach tablescapes, but it will undoubtedly rain on the table! Another funny story while trying to photograph this table!
A Garden Table To Welcome June
A variety of hydrangeas grace a ‘Victorian Rose’ tablecloth by April Cornell for an English-style garden tablescape!
A Garden Table to Welcome Summer
The garden is an ideal spot to welcome summer especially with blue and pink hydrangeas in my beloved Mother’s majolica-style pitcher!
Sweet Peaches & Summer Flowers
My favorite summer fruit is peaches, so why not celebrate them with a tablescape?!
Blissful Blooms On My Garden Table
As I have already mentioned hydrangeas have been used often for my flower arrangements, probably more than any other flower. Long-time readers will remember that my dear friend owned a gorgeous hydrangea farm, she has now retired. She has worked so hard and deserves her retirement. I will miss all of the beautiful varieties. Our friendship began with hydrangeas, but it is much deeper than flowers! It is built on our faith in God, our love and devotion to family, and our lasting bond as friends! Love to my precious friend, Martha!
Thank you for your visit and gracious comments.
Wishing you a joy-filled summer!

Pam all your table scapes are beautiful. It is such a blessing when we find life long beautiful friendships to cherish. I cannot wait to see who the special guest will be. Happy Tuesday. Hugs. Kris
You are so very sweet! Kris, thank for taking time to visit and always comment!
Good morning, Pam! What a beautiful roundup of summer tablescapes and so much inspiration gathered in one post. I’m hard-pressed to choose a favorite, but I’m especially drawn to the tables featuring your cheerful sunflowers—they always make me smile and instantly say “summer” to me. 🌻 I also loved revisiting some of your creative centerpieces, lovely dishes, and beautiful linens that make each table uniquely yours. I know Martha’s retirement must be bittersweet after so many years of friendship and working together. 🌸 Thank you for sharing so much beauty and inspiration with us over the years. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead filled with blooms, sunshine, and sweet summertime moments. 🩷☀️
Mary, thank you for your sweet comments. I also love sunflowers, they bring a smile to my face! We are supposed to get a lot of rain. I hope I get to photograph in the morning. 🌻☀️🥰
A bountiful display of floral arrangements that brought sunshine to my eyes! Enjoyed all the tablescapes and that certainly show your creativity.
Maureen thank you for your kind comments. I am so happy you enjoyed!
Good morning sweet Pam, it is impossible to pick one favorite tablescape…all are beautiful. And those beautiful quilts, what stories they must tell. Did someone take over Ms Martha’s hydrangea farm? The varieties you have shown are just incredible. And what a blessing your friendship grew with the flowers. Next week I will be doing something new for me…teaching VBS to the 5-10 year olds! The theme is Fruits of the Spirit, and I will be teaching the Bible lesson and crafts. One of the husbands has even built kid sized wooden fruit stands! I am very excited to be doing this bc John and I still to this day have such fond memories of going to VBS as children.
Roxanne, how exciting to teach VBS. It will be so much fun. Get those running shoes ready. I want to know all about it. Our Allison is in charge of VBS this year and Butch and I will be doing whatever she needs us to do.
Martha is precious, it takes me about 45 minutes to get to her house. Y’all would certainly be friends. I have the 29th on my calendar🙏🏻
Oh Pam, all your gorgeous floral centerpieces are just so very lovely! You very have a beautiful garden to enjoy and use to make such happy arrangements. Of course all your table coverings set the stage for all that beauty. I particularly love the quilted ones from your mother and grandmother. Have a wonderful week of loveliness!
Kitty, your comments are so sweet and much appreciated! Happy week to you!
This is beyond gorgeous. I was trying to pick a favorite but gave up on that halfway through reading the post, no chance, they are all beautiful.

Amalia, thank you for your sweet visit and comments!
So many beautiful Tablescapes, each varied in themes and flowers. I found myself drawn to your simple but oh so colorful zinnia bouquet. With the wedges of watermelon, it just speaks of summer to me.
Karen, thank you for your sweet comments. That particular table is a favorite of mine!
Oh Pam, what a delight to revisit these beautiful tablescapes. I looked at them as if I had never seen them before because they are all so unique, yet drawn together in your own very personal style. I could spot your mark on any of 100 tables and it would make me smile…because I would say, “THAT is Pam’s” If I had to choose one, It would have to be the Lemons & Snowflake Hydrangeas! I don’t know how I missed that one first go’round but it is a stunner. My second choice would be Zinnia Bouquet…I chuckle at my small comment on the original and when I looked at the date…I knew why…and you, my dear friend, also knew why. Thanks for sharing these Summer tables…they made my day brighter and happier. Hugs and Blessings 🥰🙏🏻🦋🧚🏻🌸
Kari, you are a sweetheart! Your words remind me of the miracle you are and God’s goodness! I guess we all have a personal style with our homes, our clothes, and yes even our tablescapes! Hugs and blessings to you 🙏🏻☀️🦋🌻
I love them all!!!
So thankful for you💕
And I am so thankful for you 💕
All of these are the epitome of summer tablescaping! Each is beautiful in its own way and they all speak to the joys of summer dining!
Jeanie, I always appreciate your visits and sweet comments!
Pam, I so love your tablescapes, especially thise set outdoors. the beach themed tables are great. I suppose the pop up showers just added to the authenticity! Congratulations to Martha on her retirement. I guess you & Butch will just need to add more hydrangea varieties to your own landscape. (or talk Seth & Allyson into planting some pn their property?!) Happy soon-to-be summer solstice!
Thank you, Rita! Butch and I are getting too old to continue at the same pace! Butch just keeps adding more, he wants to be busy all the time. I am ready to rest🥰
Pam, Your summer tables are all beautiful! I can’t pick a favorite because all of them are just gorgeous! Naturally, your sentimental items are all favorites. Your Mom was really talented. I can’t believe that summer is already here and that half the year has passed. Our drought is over at the moment. We had a lot of rain over the past few days. I know the farmers are happier and, hopefully, it didn’t harm their crops.
Thank you sweet Clara. I appreciate all of your visits and comments. We received a lot of rain and wind on Sunday and are expecting heavy rain later this week. I hope all of our farmers survived the drought!

I’m late to the party but want you to know that I would love to be at each and every table. All of them are examples of the time and talent you put into teaching us how to set a table to make our families and friends
Swoon. A tall glass of tea right now would do the trick tobcool me off from a very hot day.
Alice, you are never late. I am always happy to see you and read your sweet comments. How hot was it in Colorado today? Don’t overdo your outside work in the heat! If you were here, I would make you a tall glass of iced tea!
What a beautiful array of tablescapes Pam, I remember most of them. And all appearing happy & summery to welcome Summer days. 😊
Blessings sweet friend, Jennifer
What a gorgeous array of tablescapes. I remember most of them. I can’t pick a favorite, but I do love the sunflower centerpieces. I also love the quilts from your Mother and grandmother. I always love to visit.
Looking forward to next week’s tea!!
Thank you, Nancy! I appreciate your visits and sweet comments!
Oh my gosh Pam – what a stunning round-up of summer tablescapes. As others have said, it is impossible to choose a favorite as they are all beautiful. I love the ones with the quilt toppers and I know how special those quilts are to you and the memories they hold. Your flower arrangements are always gorgeous and while I am partial to hydrangeas, the sunflowers always always bring a smile – how can they not? I love the way you mix patterns with your linens, dishware, and stemware, and the end result is always special and uniquely you. You do have a wonderful style, my dear. All that being said, I felt myself drawn to the hydrangeas and sea shells tablescape, as one that I’ve not seen previously. Could there be anything more perfect? I must check it out. Thanks for all the wonderful inspiration and wishing you a lovely rest of the week!
Breathtaking tablescapes!!! Amazing flowers arrangement, wonderful clothes, stunning China… Thank you for such beauty and inspiration. I am grateful for you too! Hugs and blessings. Best wishes for Martha.
You are so sweet to visit and comment, Maristella! Wishing you a wonderful new week my friend!
