Summer mornings are nice when the flowers open up and the garden welcomes a new day. I didn’t venture too far from home last week. I suppose most of my everyday living was done outside and around the house. Even the 4th was spent with family at our house. We did catch a nice fireworks display up on the lake last Sunday evening. Celebrating Sunflowers

Hello sweet friends and Happy Thursday. I hope you all are having a good week. It is July in the South, and the heat index has been hovering around 107, but the sunflowers seem to love it!

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.”

We first planted sunflowers in 2015 and have planted every year since. They are one of my favorite summer flowers because they make me smile. I hope they will bring a smile to you!
