I had to get out early and take in another September morning as October was just ahead. I stood at the pasture’s edge and was once again, for the millionth time, overwhelmed by the Creator and His creation. No two days are ever exactly the same. Never have they been, and never will they be. As I walked away later, I thought of that Neil Diamond song, “September Morn”. I always liked that song. He sang “September Morn, we danced until the night became a brand new day”. Now we didn’t dance that long, so I was able to be up at first light as September was coming to a close!READ MORE

On the second full day of autumn the sun briefly looked like a gigantic pumpkin sitting on the horizon. Maybe I’m just overcome with thoughts of pumpkins since I’ve been called on to get a few…by my people, for my people.
