Anyone care for a buttercup? Cattle and horses don’t like them and we understand they are toxic except in dried form (hay). Cows in this pasture may have to wander a bit to find something to munch on!
We forget about these irises until they surprise us and pop up on the road embankment near our house every year. They are in close proximity to an old home place and probably escaped from there. We’ve never been sure of their identity. They look a little like an iris called sintenisii but maybe they are a dwarf iris or Dutch iris? Y’all let us know what you think.READ MORE
