A Delightful Easter Tea

Happy Tuesday sweet friends. Easter is a special day for our family! After morning church services, we will gather at our home for a late lunch and an afternoon Easter egg hunt with our three grands. They will be excited to find eggs with surprises tucked inside! But Easter is so much more than bunnies and eggs. Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! 

“but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

This is the Garden of Gethsemane. Pam and I were privileged to journey to the Holy Land a few years ago and were blessed to visit so many wonderful places. The garden lies near the base of the Mount of Olives. A path from the Mount passing through this area would have been the route Jesus followed riding into Jerusalem on a donkey…usually referred to as The Triumphal Entry. This event took place one week prior to Jesus’ resurrection on what is now known as Palm Sunday.READ MORE

Celebrating Spring’s Arrival & Easter’s Blessings

Hello friends, it is the first day of spring and I am celebrating its arrival in our Appalachian Foothills! I am choosing to celebrate even though our day started out in the upper 20’s! Not only am I celebrating spring’s arrival but also Easter’s blessings.
