In early February the cottage garden starts to wake up. Green shoots begin to break through the soil and the bright yellow harbingers of spring start showing their happy faces by middle to late February.READ MORE

Hello sweet friends. I am having a hard time believing that meteorological spring will begin this Friday, March 1st! Are you seeing signs of spring? Our daffodils are in bloom and their sunny faces make me smile!

A Gardener’s Pictorial Journal

Hello sweet friends! With February’s soon arrival (Thursday), I am thinking about gardening and springtime planting!

It was so exciting to receive my delivery of Johnny’s seeds last week…zinnias, sunflowers, snapdragons, cosmos, hybrid marigold, and butterfly/hummingbird mix!
